The Music Centre will take over organization of musical and stage program for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the restoration of independence

The Coordination Body for organizing the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Montenegro’s independence has proposed that the Music Centre of Montenegro take over the organization of the musical and stage program for this jubilee, which includes the engagement of Montenegrin performers, according to the information on the need to secure financial resources for the implementation of the program, adopted by the Government based on the consent of the majority of its members, without holding a session.

At a session held on April 20, the Coordination Body assessed that the Music Centre, as a public institution of special importance in the field of culture, has the necessary professional and organizational capacities to take over the organization of the musical and stage program, which includes the engagement of Montenegrin performers.

- Starting from the importance of the jubilee, as well as the need to implement the program in a high-quality, substantive, and representative manner, the Coordination Body considered a model of organization that подразumijeva the engagement of various entities, in accordance with the type and nature of the program content - the document states.

The Music Centre, as noted, through its previous work and institutional credibility, can ensure program content that corresponds to the significance of the jubilee and contributes to the promotion of domestic artistic creativity.

- The decision to entrust this segment of the program to the Music Centre of Montenegro is based on the need to further promote Montenegrin artists and cultural potential through the marking of this jubilee, as well as to ensure a program that is both content-rich and artistically grounded, aligned with the overall concept of the celebration - the document explains.

It is added that financial resources need to be secured for the implementation of activities that the Music Centre of Montenegro will carry out in connection with organizing the musical and stage program featuring Montenegrin performers.
