The Government is selling non-operational vehicles: 73 cars for nearly 52,000 euros

The State Property Administration has announced a public call for the sale of 73 vehicles, with a total estimated value of nearly 52,000 euros. According to the invitation for bids published on the Government’s website, the cars have defects and are not in drivable condition.
Individually, vehicle prices range from €236 (for a 2005 Golf 5) to €2,624 (for a 2011 Volkswagen Touareg).
Various car brands are available, with Lada Niva models (from 2005, 2006, and 2007) dominating the offer, followed by different models from Peugeot, Mercedes, Ford, Land Rover, and others.
The vehicles are being sold individually and can be inspected on May 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the parking area of the State Property Administration - southern part of the Masline barracks in Podgorica.
All legal entities and individuals who submit bids in sealed envelopes are eligible to participate in the public call. Bidders are required to submit a deposit in cash amounting to 10 percent of their offer.
- The most favorable bidder is obliged to pay the offered amount and notarize the purchase agreement within 10 days from the date of the auction (in case the top-ranked bidder withdraws, the right to purchase passes to the next-ranked bidder, etc.), after which they may take possession of the vehicle - the document states, among other things.
Vehicles for recycling also on sale
Vehicles from Lot II are considered waste and are intended for recycling, to be sold as secondary raw materials. Only companies or entrepreneurs licensed to process end-of-life vehicles, in accordance with Article 48 of the Law on Waste Management and the relevant regulation on collection and processing systems, may participate in this part of the public call. These vehicles cannot be purchased individually. The buyer bears the costs of collection, transport, and weighing. The starting price is €0.15 per kilogram plus VAT.
Participants in the public bidding process must submit, along with their offer, a deposit of 200 euros in cash or a bank guarantee (unconditional, payable on first demand, valid for one month) in the same amount.
The opening of bids will be conducted by the State Property Administration Commission on May 14.
