Tender worth €400,000 issued for Velje Brdo Boulevard construction supervision
The Ministry of Public Works has launched a €400,000 (VAT included) tender for professional supervision of the construction of Velje Brdo Boulevard and its accompanying infrastructure.
According to the tender documentation published on the Montenegrin Electronic Public Procurement System website, the supervision must be carried out in accordance with the Law on Construction of Structures, the Rulebook on the Method of Professional Supervision and the Preparation and Content of Construction Supervision Reports, as well as the contract to be concluded with the successful bidder.
In addition to the reports required under the Rulebook, the selected contractor will also be obliged to submit monthly progress reports on the implementation of the works.
The monthly reports must include the elements prescribed by the Rulebook, a summary of events and circumstances which, in the opinion of the supervising engineer, may adversely affect the implementation of the construction contract, recommendations for measures to overcome identified problems, and any other relevant information.
The tender documentation states that details regarding the scope of works and other project-specific requirements are available through the Electronic Public Procurement System (ESJN) under the procurement procedure titled „Construction of Velje Brdo Boulevard with Accompanying Infrastructure“.
The deadline for submitting bids is 24 August at 10:00 a.m.
In June, the Ministry of Public Works launched the tender for the construction of Velje Brdo Boulevard, describing it as one of the key infrastructure projects for the future development of Podgorica, according to officials from the ministry headed by Majda Adžović.
- This marks the beginning of the practical implementation of a road that will serve as the main connection between the Velje Brdo neighbourhood and Podgorica's urban road network - the Ministry said at the time.
The project documentation was prepared by Optimus Project of Bijelo Polje, while the project review was carried out by the Institute for Development and Research in the Field of Occupational Safety based in Podgorica.
The estimated value of the construction works is €33 million, excluding VAT.
