Ricky Martin: Montenegro, together we celebrated music, culture, and your independence - I will definitely return!

Two days after the spectacular concert he held in Podgorica to mark two decades since the restoration of Montenegro’s independence, global Latin pop star Ricky Martin thanked the Montenegrin audience for the warm atmosphere and promised to return to the country.
- Montenegro, I will only focus on the amazing energy I felt coming fron you - singer Ricky Martin wrote on his Instagram story.
He did not hide that he is still deeply impressed by the night of May 21 in Montenegro’s capital.

- A very warm and loving crowd. We were celebrating music, culture, and of course, your independence. I am still high from that amazing evening performing for you. Much love always and I'll be back - the global superstar said.
Martin also shared a clip from the performance on his story in which he can be heard shouting from the stage: „Viva Montenegro!“.
During his concert in Podgorica, he performed his biggest hits, while the audience enjoyed legendary songs such as María, Livin' la Vida Loca, She Bangs, and Nobody Wants to Be Lonely.

At one point, the concert was briefly interrupted after tear gas was thrown into the crowd, but the singer decided to return to the stage with the message - „Nothing is going to stop this show“, delivering a perfect finale with the timeless hits Livin' la Vida Loca and The Cup of Life.
The famous Puerto Rican musician congratulated the audience on Independence Day from the stage and said that he loves them and looks forward to the next meeting.
