At a session of the Arbitration Commission for the demarcation between the Capital City and the Municipality of Tuzi, both local governments submitted proposals for territorial delimitation and the division of property.

As the President of the Arbitration Commission Dragana Đurišić told Dan, once the proposals are opened, it will be known how each side proposes the demarcation.

- A session of the Arbitration Commission was held, and the items submitted for arbitration were defined, namely, the proposals of both sides concerning territorial delimitation and the division of property. Regarding the division of property, it was decided that the Commission will address both sides in order to obtain an overview of the inventoried assets at this moment. The session took place in a positive atmosphere with constructive discussion - said Đurišić.

At the previous session, the Arbitration Commission adopted its rules of procedure, which specify that the process of demarcation between Podgorica and Tuzi will be completed within 90 days. It is also foreseen that the Commission will work in sessions that can be held only if a majority of members are present. The Commission is also given the possibility to engage expert witnesses and specialists from certain fields.

All issues are decided by voting, and decisions are adopted by a majority of votes. In the event of a tie, the deciding vote belongs to the President of the Arbitration Commission. The final decision on the demarcation must be reasoned and has the force of a court settlement.
